Happy New Year everyone, hope this post finds you well. The new league is right around the corner and Docio has most of the details ready to go. Our first week, Week 0, will be pool play format. This a great opportunity to meet and greet with other league participants. This will also give people an opportunity to pay for the league and/or just check things out. Docio will also be there to answer any questions you might have.
1) Email Docio back if you are sure you want to participate or even if you are just a maybe at this time. Docio wants to get a participants list going ASAP.
2) Two ways to secure a spot: Pay up front and get a receipt or email Docio your L.A. Fitness ID number and he can sign you up (if you have a credit card linked to your account).
3) New this league – Participant sign up sheet – This will give people an idea of who is interested or already signed up.
Dates & Times:
Our league will run from January 7th to March 30th. Play will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8:00. Courts will be reserved for league players on Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 8:00, and Saturdays from 11:00 to 3:00.
Due to high demand and feedback, this league will be a combination of Pool Play and Flex League/Challenge Ladder Formats. Approximately 6 weeks for each format. Players will be assigned opponents weekly. Players will have from Monday to Saturday afternoon to complete their weekly matches. Please see League Ladder rules link for further format details. More info will be provided on the first week, Week 0.
The cost for the Spring League is $40, which includes entry to our league ending tournament.
The tournament is tentatively set to take place on April 6th, 2019.
